cellist Greet Gils studied at both the Brussels and the Gent conservatories where she graduated in cello and in chamber music with Prof. Messens, Prof. Mannes en prof. Vermeulen. She was selected to play in the World Youth Orchestra with Mario Venzago en Serge Baudo. She was a permanent member of the Antwerp Philharmonic Orchestra and the National Orchestra of Belgium, and solo cellist of the Victoria Symphony Orchestra, Canada. At the moment she plays in the symphonic orchestra of the Flemish Opera and as a chamber musician in the Coll’arco string quartet, the Argandi Piano Trio and the cello ensemble octocelli
